A very rare opportunity to acquire what must be one of the most sought after and rare road legal motorcycles that Ducati produced. The 1967 Mark 3, a racing bike for the road.

These Mark 3s were taken straight from the production line and used on the race track very successfully by the likes of Paul Smart and Reg Everett who together won the 24 hour Barcelona 250 cc race. Also, in 1970 the Vic Camp prepared machines won the 250 class at the Thruxton 500 and 250 class at the Isle of Man production TT.

We are offering for sale one of these rare machines as a project which includes frame and swing arm in primer ready to paint plus the following comprehensive list of parts:-

1. 31.5mm forks complete with shrouds and bottom yoke

2. handlebars or clipons complete with corresponding top yoke

3. Fuel tank and toolboxes chemically stripped and ready to paint

4. Fuel cap (re-plated), toolbox screws, rear set footrest kit

5. Complete headlight with mounting ears, electrical switches

6. Front/rear mudguards in primer, chain-guard

7. Polished front/rear wheel hubs, 2x WM1 aluminium wheel rims

8. Brake plates, shoes,sprocket carrier, all complete

9. Seat with choice of bench or bump style

10. Rear CEV tail light and license plate

11. Centre stand, brake pedal and pins

12. Choke, brake and clutch levers and full set of cables

13. Marzocchi rear suspension units complete
